Khalid Satary has been extradited to the U.S. to face charges for allegedly orchestrating a massive healthcare fraud scheme involving medically unnecessary cancer testing. The operation utilized a network of call centers and kickbacks to generate $547 million in fraudulent claims, of which $134 million was successfully disbursed by Medicare.
