When you create an account, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not collect payment information during the free early-access period.
We collect usage data including page views, feature interactions, and signal bookmarks/pins to improve the product. This data is collected via Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Mosaic Intelligence platform
- To send you product notifications and intelligence alerts you've opted into
- To send you a daily intelligence digest (if subscribed)
- To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve signal quality
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and least-privilege database access. Account authentication is handled by Clerk, which is SOC 2 Type II certified.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management
- Plausible Analytics — Cookie-free, GDPR-compliant analytics
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- Anthropic Claude — AI enrichment of intelligence signals (no personal data is sent)
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@themosaic.news. Signal data is retained indefinitely for historical analysis purposes but is not linked to individual user accounts.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@themosaic.news.
7. Cookies
Mosaic Intelligence does not use tracking cookies. Authentication session data is stored in secure, httpOnly cookies by Clerk. Our analytics provider (Plausible) does not use cookies.

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
