Anomalies
Deviations from baseline across everything Mosaic tracks. Not what happened — what changed: actors drawing unusual attention, sources going quiet, aircraft and shipping patterns breaking. Recomputed every 15 minutes. Each card states what changed, what it's compared against, and how mature that baseline is — a big multiple on a near-zero baseline is a lead, not a finding.
Methodology: coverage spikes flag actors whose 24-hour mention count exceeds 3× their trailing 30-day daily average (min 4 mentions; entities under a week old are excluded). Source silence flags outlets averaging 5+ items/day over two weeks that produced nothing in 24h despite successful polling. Dark-vessel alerts cover six strategic chokepoints, require the ship to have been underway and recently active, and are suppressed when a zone-wide receiver gap is likely. Flight surges compare ADS-B activity in a zone against its 30-day norm. Fusionalerts fire when a physical sensor anomaly and a coverage anomaly align in the same zone within 24 hours. Baseline maturity qualifies every card: a deviation is only painted severe/red when it rests on a mature baseline; thin and near-zero baselines are surfaced as leads with the severity shown but not escalated. Market-price and situation-break detectors are not yet implemented — those classes are planned, not live.
