IRGC claims downing 2 US drones near Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Revolutionary Guards claim to have shot down two US LUCAS attack drones near Bandar Khamir in Hormozgan province, adjacent to the Strait of Hormuz. The claim is unverified and follows a pattern of periodic US-Iran drone incidents in the area. If confirmed, this marks an escalation in direct military friction between the US and Iran, with potential implications for regional security and oil transit through the strait.
