Hellenic Police dismantle criminal network in Crete for fraud and extortion

Greek authorities arrested eight individuals in Crete for a criminal enterprise involving livestock theft, extortion, and the fraudulent misappropriation of EU agricultural subsidies. The investigation estimates the illicit financial gain from these activities exceeds 270,000 euros.
