Salesian Congregation abuse victims appeal compensation ruling in Santiago

Victims of sexual abuse by the Congregación Salesiana have appealed a civil court ruling that awarded 325 million pesos, seeking an increase to 900 million pesos. The Séptimo Juzgado Civil de Santiago previously upheld 8 of 9 lawsuits against the institution, establishing legal liability for the abuse.
