Severe flooding and storm damage reported across Sverdlovsk Oblast

Persistent heavy rainfall since late June has flooded over 400 homes and 1,700 plots in Sverdlovsk Oblast, disrupting major transport routes including the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway. A localized storm on July 15 in Yekaterinburg exacerbated the situation, causing significant urban infrastructure damage and power outages for traffic control systems.
