Severe flooding in Chile's Bío Bío region destroys residential infrastructure

Intense rainfall has caused the Curanilahue River to overflow, resulting in the destruction of residential property. The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) has initiated emergency response protocols as the storm system continues to impact the region.
