Jamaica poll: PNP base turns against republic push, plurality undecided

A new NNN/Bluedot poll shows a plurality of Jamaicans undecided on becoming a republic, and more PNP supporters now oppose than support the move, despite the party's official backing. This signals eroding domestic consensus on constitutional reform and may slow the PNP's republic agenda. The shift is notable as it contradicts the party's stated position and suggests political risk for the government.
