Jamaica poll: cost of living now top public concern, displacing crime

A Nationwide/Bluedot poll (Sep 5-28, 2026, n=1,568, MoE ±2.5%) shows cost of living has overtaken crime as Jamaicans' top concern, reflecting a notable shift amid declining year-on-year crime rates. The change signals potential political pressure on the government over economic conditions, though the poll's partisan implications remain unclear.
