Severe storm system in Chile results in four fatalities and widespread infrastructure damage

A major storm system impacting 10 regions across Chile has caused four confirmed deaths, one missing person, and significant damage to over 5,500 homes. The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) is currently managing the emergency response as the full extent of the infrastructure impact remains under assessment.
