The 4 billion euro Neptun Deep offshore project is proceeding on schedule and budget, with production expected to reach 8 billion cubic meters annually starting in autumn 2027. While the project timeline is secure, concerns persist regarding the readiness of the local Romanian economy to process and absorb the incoming gas supply.
