Romanian police official and associates detained for bribery in Giurgiu

A police commissioner, his brother, and a corporate representative were detained for 24 hours on charges of bribery. The official allegedly accepted payments to overlook traffic violations involving heavy-duty trucks transporting materials for a local photovoltaic park project.
