Honduran forces seize 22,000 coca plants in Olancho, 7,000 marijuana plants in Colón

Honduran Armed Forces and the anti-drug directorate located and seized a suspected coca plantation in Dulce Nombre de Culmí, Olancho, and a marijuana plantation in Colón. The operation continues an established counter-narcotics pattern in Honduras, with no reported arrests or lab seizures. The scale of the coca seizure is notable for a country not typically a major coca producer, suggesting possible cultivation expansion.
