European BEV registrations exceed 1 million units in H1 2026

Battery electric vehicle registrations in Europe reached 1.24 million in the first half of 2026, marking a 33.7% year-on-year increase. The growth is attributed to sustained government subsidies and elevated fuel costs, resulting in a 25.6% market share for fully electric vehicles in June.
