Särkänniemi amusement park initiates redevelopment of protected site in Tampere

Särkänniemi has filed for permits to convert its former dolphinarium into an event arena and construct a new restaurant at the base of the Näsinneula tower. The project also includes the addition of a parking facility, marking a significant shift in the park's land-use strategy for its protected heritage buildings.
