Romanian dentist detained for fraudulent billing of state medical services

A dentist in Botoșani has been detained following allegations of filing over 1,000 fraudulent medical claims for student services over a four-year period. The suspect allegedly misappropriated 100,000 lei from the state budget, with authorities currently conducting searches to secure evidence.
