Orlen-Synthos SMR project negotiations face impasse over operational control

Negotiations between Polish state-controlled Orlen and private firm Synthos regarding a joint small modular reactor (SMR) project in Włocławek have stalled due to internal disputes. Orlen is actively evaluating alternative technology partnerships, including potential Canadian vendors, should the current collaboration fail.
