ByteDance to construct TikTok's first Latin American data center in Ceará, Brazil

ByteDance has announced a R$ 200 billion investment to establish a major data center facility at the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex in Brazil. The project, slated to begin construction in January 2026, represents the company's largest technological infrastructure investment outside of China and is expected to significantly impact regional employment and real estate markets.
