Ecuador-Colombia Capture Fito's Wife and Daughter; PCC Cell Dismantled in Chile

Ecuadorian and Colombian authorities captured the wife and daughter of former Choneros leader alias 'Fito' in Santander, Colombia, continuing a campaign against his family network. Separately, Chilean police dismantled what they claim is the PCC's first cell in the country, though similar cells have been found before, and Colombia extradited Border Command leader alias 'Araña' to the United States. These actions signal sustained cross-border law enforcement pressure on organized crime leadership in the region.
