US Southcom reports new boat attack in Caribbean, 230 killed in past year

US Southern Command reported a new attack on a suspected drug-smuggling boat in the Caribbean on Sunday, part of a campaign that has killed over 230 people in the past year. The attacks have drawn criticism as extrajudicial executions, raising legal and humanitarian concerns. The incident continues an established pattern, with no indication of a change in US policy.
