Aramco Restarts East-West Pipeline at Reduced Rates After Attack

Saudi Aramco has resumed pumping on the East-West pipeline (Petroline) at reduced rates of around 4 million bpd, less than two weeks after attacks knocked out the 7 million bpd system. Tanker loadings at Yanbu have restarted but regular exports have not fully recovered. The partial restoration reduces but does not eliminate the risk premium tied to potential Strait of Hormuz disruption.
