Flash flooding in southern Romania triggers Red alert and emergency response

Torrential rainfall has caused the Dâmbu creek to overflow in Ploiești, resulting in the flooding of over 50 homes across Prahova, Dâmbovița, and Ilfov counties. Emergency services are currently conducting operations in 20 localities, with the full extent of infrastructure damage and potential casualties still being assessed.
