EU Parliament to reject MFF budget cuts threatening Romania, Mureşan says

Siegfried Mureşan, co-rapporteur for the European Parliament on the 2028-2034 multiannual financial framework, stated the EP will not vote for a budget that proposes dangerous cuts for Romania or any member state. This signals parliamentary resistance to proposed reductions, though the final budget outcome remains uncertain pending negotiations with the Council.
