Spain approves housing decree: new eviction responsibility system, below-market sales to companies

Spain's government approved a housing decree law introducing a system where administrations take responsibility for vulnerable evictees, offering alternatives or paying rents. It also allows companies to buy housing below market value if they sign a code of good practices. A second decree on automatic lease renewal has not yet been published in the official gazette.
