Qamishli Military Administration Merges into New Syrian Army Formations

The Qamishli Military Administration has officially integrated its forces into the new Syrian Army, with the Tarteb Barracks in Qamishli now serving as headquarters for the Qamishli Brigade, one of four merged brigades. This marks a significant step in consolidating armed groups under the new Syrian command, though the extent of integration and command authority remains unclear. The move could reshape the balance of power in northeastern Syria, affecting Kurdish-led forces and external stakeholders.
