Russia's New State Duma Formed with Controversial Figures

Russia's newly formed State Duma includes individuals with controversial backgrounds, such as an arms dealer, the son of Putin's trainer, and a person accused of killing a civilian in Bucha. This composition signals continuity of the current political elite and potential disregard for international accountability. The inclusion of the Bucha suspect may strain relations with Ukraine and the West.
