Venezuela's Delcy Rodríguez pitches 'Venezuela Alimenta' at FAO amid CLAP controversy

Venezuela's acting head of state, Delcy Rodríguez, presented the 'Venezuela Alimenta' plan at the FAO World Food Forum in Rome, with US backing, aiming to address hunger. This contrasts with past Chavismo policies like the CLAP food boxes, which were criticized for political manipulation. The move signals a potential shift in Venezuela's international engagement and food policy, though domestic credibility remains uncertain.
