TSMC supplier Nichias to localize production of critical chipmaking components in Taiwan

Japanese supplier Nichias will establish a manufacturing facility in Taiwan to produce high-purity tubes essential for semiconductor fabrication. This move aims to shorten TSMC's supply chain and mitigate risks associated with cross-border logistics for critical manufacturing inputs.
