Bogotá mayor defends El Campín stadium completion by 2027 amid doubts

Bogotá mayor Carlos Fernando Galán publicly responded to skepticism about the delivery timeline for the new El Campín stadium, reaffirming the end-2027 target. The statement is a political reassurance rather than a confirmed schedule change; construction progress and financing details remain unverified. The outcome matters for local infrastructure delivery and public confidence in the city administration.
