Peru automotive association proposes 2036 transport reform to mitigate Lima congestion costs

The Asociación Automotriz del Perú (AAP) has released a strategic roadmap to address traffic congestion in Lima, which currently incurs annual economic losses of S/30 billion. The proposal focuses on accelerating metro expansion, public transport modernization, and fleet renewal to prevent a projected doubling of these losses by 2036.
