INEC clears 19 candidates for 2027 Taraba governorship race

Nigeria's electoral commission has published a list of 19 candidates for the 2027 Taraba State governorship election, including incumbent Governor Agbu Kefas and his two main 2023 rivals. The list formalizes the field but does not signal a shift in the state's political balance; the race remains competitive with the incumbent seeking re-election.
