Kaieteur NewsLO·GY·1 day ago
An undertaker at the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) confessed to police that he helped plan the August 18 robbery at the organization's Woolford Avenue premises, in which $800,000 was stolen. His nephew, Lester Leung, has been charged. The confession adds a domestic accomplice angle to an ongoing investigation, but details on the motive and full extent of the plot remain unclear.
