Mexico arrests 9 in federal trucking robbery ring on Highway 57

Mexican security forces arrested nine individuals linked to a federal trucking robbery network operating along Highway 57 in San Luis Potosí. The operation, announced by Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch, is part of broader efforts to curb cargo theft on a key freight corridor. The arrests signal continued enforcement but do not indicate a systemic shift in cargo theft rates.
