Liège Court of Appeal sentences university employee to five years for rape

A 60-year-old University of Liège employee was sentenced to five years in prison for the 2021 rape of a student at a university event. The court found the defendant exploited the victim's intoxicated state to commit the assault at the Sart-Tilman campus.
