TV Republika faces critical funding deadline for broadcast license fee

Polish broadcaster TV Republika faces a September 1st deadline to pay a 2.04 million PLN license fee following the collapse of potential share acquisition talks with investor Kral. It remains uncertain whether the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) will grant a payment extension or if the network faces regulatory risk regarding its broadcast status.
