Cisco warns of critical NX-OS flaws enabling root takeover of Nexus switches

Cisco disclosed five critical vulnerabilities in NX-OS that allow unauthenticated remote code execution with root privileges on Nexus data center switches. Exploitation could enable network infrastructure compromise, including interception and disruption of data center traffic. Patches are available, but exposure depends on deployment of affected models and configurations.
