UNESCO removes Vienna historic center from World Heritage in Danger list

UNESCO has delisted Vienna's historic center from its 'in danger' status following the modification of a controversial high-rise project. The building's height was reduced from 73 meters to under 50 meters to preserve the site's architectural integrity, resolving a dispute that began in 2017.
