EU to present compromise budget proposal Saturday; Ireland warns not all will be satisfied

Ireland, chairing the Council of Ministers, announced a new compromise proposal for the EU's next long-term budget will be presented on Saturday. The proposal aims to bridge differences among member states, but Ireland cautions that it cannot please everyone. This signals ongoing negotiations over the EU's multi-annual financial framework, with potential implications for EU spending priorities and member-state contributions.
