US provides $48,000 aid for wildfire suppression in Colombia

The U.S. government has allocated $48,000 to support firefighting efforts in the Colombian departments of Tolima, Nariño, and Valle. While 19 fires remain active across six departments, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management reports two fires are currently under control.
