Dutch State Buys Zeeland Stake in Borssele Nuclear Plant for €115.7M

The Dutch State is acquiring the 50% stake in EPZ, operator of the Borssele nuclear plant, from Zeeuwse Energie Houdstermaatschappij (ZEH) for €115.7 million, pending provincial and municipal approval. RWE retains its 30% stake. This increases state control over nuclear energy infrastructure, aligning with broader European energy security and decarbonization goals.
