Panamanian authorities arrest suspect in IFARHU scholarship fund embezzlement case

Panamanian authorities have arrested an individual linked to the misappropriation of 414 checks and 84 cards intended for the PASE-U scholarship program. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the financial diversion and potential involvement of additional actors within the Institute for the Training and Development of Human Resources (IFARHU).
