Romania confirms ransomware attack on national land registry, system reconstruction ongoing

The Romanian government confirmed that a ransomware attack 13 days ago encrypted and deleted critical virtualization infrastructure at the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising. While reconstruction of the e-Terra system is underway with support from national intelligence and telecommunications services, officials have provided no timeline for full service restoration.
