Nigeria CDS extends aerial intelligence to North-West, North-Central theatres

Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff ordered the extension of aerial intelligence support from Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East to Operation Fansan Yamma in the North-West and Operation Savannah Shield in the North-Central. This marks a broadening of surveillance assets to address escalating insecurity beyond the current focus. The move signals a strategic shift in counterinsurgency posture, though operational details remain undisclosed.
