Colombian customs authorities seize over 826,000 packs of illicit cigarettes in Ipiales

The Colombian tax and customs authority (DIAN) intercepted a large shipment of undocumented cigarettes near the border with Ecuador. The seizure, valued at approximately 6.6 billion COP, highlights ongoing efforts to curb smuggling operations in the Ipiales transit corridor.
