Iraq proposes formal security council for Iran-Saudi Arabia dialogue

Iraq has formally proposed the establishment of a joint security council between Iran and Saudi Arabia to address persistent regional mistrust. While the proposal aims to institutionalize diplomatic normalization, it remains uncertain whether both regional powers will accept a formal multilateral structure over existing bilateral channels.
