Brazilian Supreme Court upholds detention of former STJ advisor in obstruction case

Justice Cristiano Zanin of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) denied a habeas corpus request for Marcio Toledo, a former advisor to the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). Toledo remains detained for allegedly monitoring a vehicle seized by Federal Police, an act deemed by the court to compromise ongoing investigative integrity.
