Tanker Fire in Romanian Black Sea Waters; Drone Strike Suspected

An oil tanker caught fire in Romanian Black Sea waters, prompting full crew evacuation; cause unknown. Romania's defense minister stated an investigation will assess whether a drone strike caused the blaze, following multiple drones crossing into Romanian airspace near the Ukraine border earlier Wednesday. If confirmed as an attack, this would mark a direct escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict onto NATO territory, raising regional security and energy shipping risks.
