Chilean Opposition Challenges Foreign Minister Over US-Aligned Policy Shift

Chilean opposition deputies questioned Foreign Minister Francisco Pérez in the Foreign Relations Commission over an alleged shift in foreign policy following his US tour, accusing the government of abandoning historical diplomatic principles. The ruling party rejected the criticism. The exchange signals domestic political friction over alignment with the US, though no concrete policy change has been confirmed.
