Severe frontal system in Valparaíso region results in one fatality and mass displacement

A severe weather system has caused one death and displaced over 800 people across the Valparaíso region of Chile. Authorities have established emergency shelters in five municipalities, with Viña del Mar and Quilpué hosting the majority of the displaced population.
